Follow up re: annual meeting- Remind residents that annual meetings are not a place to air personal grievances with their neighbors

-at meetings, need to communicate opinions while issues arise.
-can we lower speed limit of neighborhood
-is optical narrowing an option?
-does bond need to be presented?
-has anyone been hit by a car? No
-How many complaints have we received
-Are specific residents reported
-60% residents of the community need to be in agreement
-what type of speedbumps installed
-speedbumps affecting emergency vehicles
-what is our liability moving forward
-what is our plan when we get to the point of instillation when neighbors want them where study doesn’t show they are needed
-once we have the official study done, are we obligated to do anything?
-what will it do to home values
-what official study for whole neighborhood
-what happens when road needs to be repaved
-can we do the initial study ourselves?

Minutes

Residents want to approve minutes from last meeting; we did not have the minutes to approve



No one had HOA board member nominations from the floor



Treasurer’s Report

-residents want to see improvements and maintenance financial reports

-Cooper told residents what we improved upon this year 

-there was some dissatisfaction that we paved the road without approval from residents, given the cost

-residents want to know why we don’t have our money in an interest account

-former treasurer discussed money being locked in CDs previously; we need access to our cash

-others noted that there are interest bearing accounts that will not lock our funds in



Vote to approve 2024 budget- 

Next year’s improvements: 
	-repair fence at the park, mulching the playground, park gate security issues, possibility of speedbumps within the neighborhood

	-resident feels some of the fencing is unnecessary at the park

	-universal approval of budget



Covenants- no changes to note; some people have built fences and installed pools but nothing major to note



Improvements/Maintenance: 

	-possibility of getting a shed or storage unit for the park to store 	christmas decorations/neighborhood owned posessions

	-resident wants to know if we can survey the neighborhood for google fiber 	interest

	-park area has not improved in appearance according to resident; some trails 	are inaccessable; curious if we can purchase a mulcher instead of having 	large burn piles



Communications:

	-new website rollout

	-allows park reservations electronically

	-three seperate email addresses to allow better communication 	between HOA commitees 

	-social events posted

	-residents seemed impressed with new website and were excited about 	changes



Social and Welcoming:

	-we visit new neighbors

	-resident feedback has been great

	-march 23rd easter egg hunt

	-residents would like a survey regarding small groups of activities; they seem 	very interested in this



Speedbumps:

	-we lost 25 mi/hr sign on rockridge

	-widespread concern regarding bicycle and walker safety

	-widespread concern regarding the number of children currently residing 	in neighborhood

	-residents are speeding as well

	-overall residents are fed up with speeding; there is a desire for traffic 	calming devices neighborhood wide; biggest complaints to note are 	Greenbrook, Horseshoe Bend and Rockridge

	-given the widespread interest, does it make sense to do informal study?

	-will current quotes go up given the need for the study to be done on other 	areas of neighborhood?

	-what information residents need to make a decision: cost, full transparency, 	enough speedbumps to make it impactful, stagger the amount you install 	(install so many per year instead of trying to accomplish this all at once), 	location of speedbumps, type of speedbump installed (speed table)
