Park Rules
To further protect the park, driving access through the gates is limited. Residents wishing to reserve the pavilion area for a private event should use the calendar above to schedule your reservation. The pavilion reservation availability is on a first come, first serve basis. We typically approve park reservations within 7-10 days and you will receive an email indicating your reservation is approved once the park committee has reviewed the reservation request. Please note that unless you receive the approval email from the committee your reservation is not complete.
When visiting the park, the following rules should be observed:
– Use Southwoods Park at your own risk. PWS and its homeowners are not responsible for any injuries
resulting from being in or using the park.
– No unauthorized motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed in the park at any time.
– Absolutely no firearms are permitted in the park at any time.
– The park is available to PWS residents and their guests.
– Southwoods Park is open only during daylight hours unless there is prior permission
from the Board of Directors.
– No organized teams are allowed to play or practice in the park unless such team is sponsored by
PWS.
– Any misuse or abuse of Southwoods Park and its rules by any person will result in the termination of
that person’s privilege to use the park for a time period to be determined by the Board of Directors.
– Homeowners are responsible for damages incurred either by themselves or their guests.
